An employee was trying to remove a tool extender bit from a hand drill wearing slip-resistant gloves. The employee grasped the tool extender bit and when the drill was turned on, the glove became entangled and torqued. His finger was squeezed between the glove and drill bit, amputating the left pinky fingertip.
