An employee was surveying a site to install cable when a brick wall from the neighborhood fence came crashing down on the employee. The employee was knocked down by the falling brick and debris, suffering trauma to the facial area, a broken jaw, and several fractures of the sinus cavity and eye socket. The employee was hospitalized and had surgery.
An employee was running a service line to the residence. The ladder shifted as he was climbing it, causing him to fall approximately 10 feet to the ground. The employee sustained a broken left wrist requiring surgery to repair and lacerations to the face and right arm.
A mixer truck driver was delivering a load of concrete to a jobsite. The driver was operating the controls outside of his truck when a 6x10-foot fascia wall gave way. One of the concrete fascia panels struck the driver's right calf resulting in amputation of the leg below the knee.
