Final narrative
An employee was installing flashing on a concrete deck floor to waterproof it. The employee leaned on a guardrail while attempting to reach a section of work just outside the balcony guardrails. As he leaned on the guardrail, it gave way and he fell approximately 20 feet to the ground floor, breaking his left wrist and requiring surgery.
An employee was transitioning from a ladder onto a roof when the ladder slipped and they fell approximately 20 feet to the ground. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to their pelvis and heel.
