Final narrative
On September 12, 2017, an employee was operating a crane when the steel product he was moving slipped out of the under hook device and pinched his fingers between the falling steel product and material that was stacked underneath it. The employee sustained amputations to the right middle and ring fingers.
An employee was cleaning a steel plate saw's chip chute when his right ring finger was caught and amputated between the clamp and the chip chute. The saw was running at the time.
