Two employees were unloading an auger from a delivery truck. The injured employee was supporting the auger while the other employee used equipment to grab it. The auger suddenly twisted, and its sharp tip struck the first employee's left ring finger. The fingertip was amputated and the middle of the finger was broken. The employee was hospitalized.

An employee was sorting cattle and one of the cows kicked the employee in the leg causing a bruise and a large hematoma. He was admitted to the hospital to have the hematoma drained.

An employee was clearing a rock from rollers inside a grain flaker. The rock was lodged between the rollers and the employee cut his right middle finger on the access door when he was pulling back on the tool. The laceration and bone injury required amputation of the injured finger.

His right foot broke through the grate above the auger and slipped between the slats and into the auger. The employee was hospitalized with a compound fracture to his lower right leg and required surgery.

An employee bent over to pick up a rubber mat from the ground. When he grabbed the corner of the mat, a rattlesnake hidden under it bit his left middle finger near the first knuckle. He was hospitalized.
