An employee was blending a seasoning product when some of the product became blocked. He opened the blender lid and used a tool to loosen the product. The tool pushed unexpectedly to the bottom of the blender, and his right pinky fingertip was caught between the handle of the tool and the vane of the blender. His right pinky finger was smashed.
