An employee was cutting pork with a band saw when his left middle fingertip contacted the blade and was amputated.
An employee was operating a mini-grinder. The equipment jammed; while the employee was trying to unjam it, the running paddles caught and amputated the employee's left index finger.
An employee was trimming a neck bone with a band saw when the blade lacerated his left ring and middle fingers. He was hospitalized. The band saw was guarded at the time of the incident.
An employee was operating a strip saw. As the employee shut off the saw, their right index and middle fingertips were amputated by the blade before it came to a complete stop.
