On November 20, 2017, employee 1 was working on the ground clearing fallen branches as employee 2 was in a tree clearing dead branches. A log fell from the top of the tree, hit the ground and bounced up, hitting employee 1 in the back of the head and propelling him forward into another tree. He sustained head injuries and partial paralysis to his hands and feet, requiring hospitalization.
