An employee slipped while climbing into a truck, suffering a foot fracture.
On April 23, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM, a driver was picking up a trailer at a rail yard. The employee was using a crowbar and hammer to adjust the pins of the chassis to allow the intermodal container to sit on the chassis. The container shifted and the employee's left hand was caught between the container and chassis, resulting in a partial amputation of their middle, ring, and little fingers.
