Final narrative
On January 10, 2018, at 10:20 a.m., an employee was descending a ladder after cutting a second story cable line from a residential address. The first floor cable line was still connected and under tension, which destabilized the ladder during his descent. Feeling the ladder shifting under him, he dismounted from the fourth or fifth rung up and landed on his side, fracturing his left wrist. He was hospitalized and had surgery.
An employee was on a ladder while feeding cable at a multi-unit home when the ladder slipped from beneath him and he fell. The employee was hospitalized with a leg injury.
