An employee slipped and fell down a wet staircase, suffering nerve damage.

On Nov. 23, 2014, at approximately 9:00 PM, an employee sustained an animal bite (cat) to her right finger. She was treated and released at the ER. Later, due to swelling, she was admitted to the hospital and underwent surgery on the tendon in her right finger.

An employee was opening a kennel door to take a dog on a walk when the dog bit his hand/finger. The employee suffered a partial finger amputation that required surgery.

On December 19, 2023, an employee entered a cat kennel to remove a litter box and food and water dishes. The employee was bitten by a cat on her left hand. She noticed swelling the next day, resulting in hospitalization.

A letter carrier was delivering mail when a dog attacked him. The employee's right index fingertip was amputated at the first knuckle.

An employee was assisting a doctor with treating a dog when the dog bit them on their face near their eye.

An employee was helping a patient who was carrying a cat up the stairs. The cat bit the employee on their right forearm, resulting in an infection that required hospitalization.

An employee was retrieving a dog from a kennel so it could be taken home. The dog bit her lip, removing a piece of flesh.

An employee was petting a dog's belly during an enrichment walk when the dog bit and severed part of her left ear.

An employee was participating in playtime with a cat. She was petting the cat when the cat bit her right hand. The employee was hospitalized.

On June 20, 2025, an employee fell from a horse, suffered a head injury, and was hospitalized.

An employee was working to put a dog in a kennel. The dog pulled hard on the employee, causing a lumbar disc herniation and severe back pain. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.

An employee was closing a door when the door closed on their right index finger, resulting in a fingertip amputation.

An employee was walking into the motor control center (MCC) room when his right ring finger was caught in the hinge of a doorway. He sustained an open phalanx fracture, which resulted in a partial amputation above the first knuckle.

An employee was changing the spacing on a telehandler's forks. A fork slipped, and the employee's left index finger was caught between it and the mast. The fingertip was medically amputated at the first knuckle.

An employee was pulling down a broken skid with a forklift. When the employee backed up the forklift to get the forks out of the skid he pulled down, he contacted the forks of another parked forklift, fracturing both of his legs. He was hospitalized.

An employee was carrying cups back to the kitchen when her foot got caught on a cart and she fell face-first. During the fall, a piece of glass from a cup cut the inside of her mouth, severing an artery. She also sustained a laceration on her lower lip. The employee was hospitalized.
