An employee was dry blasting garnet media from a step ladder. As he went to step down a rung, he stepped on the hose, angled the blasting gun down toward his leg, and blasted his thigh. He suffered a right leg media intrusion and required hospitalization.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
