Final narrative
An employee was pushing a plastic ice cart when the cart wheel hit a rut, causing it to stop. The employee's forward momentum caused her to then fall onto the cart, striking her head and finger. She suffered a fracture to a right-hand finger and was hospitalized.
An employee drove a float in the parade. She parked the float and as she was climbing out of the driver's compartment, the hatch came down onto her left hand which was resting on the edge of the opening. A finger was fractured and dislocated.
