Final narrative
An employee was using a boom lift to unload equipment from a flatbed truck when the turntable of the boom turned around 180 degrees with the bucket remaining on the trailer. He drove the boom toward the end of the trailer and before he could stop, the front wheels went off the back of the trailer. He was thrown off the lift and landed on the street, fracturing his right wrist and right hip. He also sustained a laceration to the right side of his face.
