An employee was cleaning a tanker car using a grit-blast hose and stretched it out to roll it up. The hose trigger button was then hit and pressurized grit was released, striking him in the neck. He was hospitalized with a laceration and contusions, requiring surgery.

An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
