An employee was opening a kennel door to take a dog on a walk when the dog bit his hand/finger. The employee suffered a partial finger amputation that required surgery.

On December 19, 2023, an employee entered a cat kennel to remove a litter box and food and water dishes. The employee was bitten by a cat on her left hand. She noticed swelling the next day, resulting in hospitalization.

A letter carrier was delivering mail when a dog attacked him. The employee's right index fingertip was amputated at the first knuckle.

An employee was assisting a doctor with treating a dog when the dog bit them on their face near their eye.

An employee was helping a patient who was carrying a cat up the stairs. The cat bit the employee on their right forearm, resulting in an infection that required hospitalization.

A client arrived for an appointment and was getting out of their car when their cat carrier broke and their cat went under the car and into the engine area. The injured employee was able to scruff the cat and started to pull it out. The cat scratched and bit the employee's hands. One wound was close to a knuckle and immediately started to swell. The employee was hospitalized for treatment.

An employee was holding the leash for a large dog. The dog panicked and pulled on the leash, causing the employee to fall forward to the ground. She suffered a broken kneecap and was hospitalized.

A cat bit a veterinarian on the thumb while being examined. The wound became infected and the employee was hospitalized.

The employee was hospitalized with back/side bruising, elbow bruising, bone bruises, and/or fractured ribs.

An employee was inspecting a breaker box and turning on/off a circuit breaker when he was electrocuted.

An employee was walking on the sidewalk. When they stepped off the curb, they fell to the ground, resulting in fractures to their tibia, fibula, and a metatarsal.
