An employee was helping another employee guide a fuel line tubing through an idler wheel when the employee's finger was caught between the rotating wheel opening and a fixed frame. The employee suffered a partial fingertip amputation.
On October 13, 2017, an employee was untangling steel tubing on the front load end of a plating line when the machine recognized a change in tension and began pulling the tubing, which then pinched and amputated the employee's right ring fingertip. The machine was powered on at the time of the incident.
