A conductor bled rail cars. The cars started to roll southeast down the lead. An employee attempted to apply the handbrake. While reaching for the handbrake, the employee stepped on a rail and then a rail car ran onto and stopped on his left foot. Half of his foot was amputated.

AEP PLC LLC

On December 26, 2023, an employee went out to the parking lot to troubleshoot the starter of an SUV. The employee was underneath the vehicle when it started and moved and the employee's middle back area was caught under the front passenger-side tire. The employee sustained a fractured collar bone.

An employee was parking at a patient's home and exited the van to manually open the garage door. The van began rolling backward and rolled over the employee's right leg. She was hospitalized with a fractured leg.

The injured employee was helping a co-worker pull wire through a conduit. The wire broke and the employee fell back and struck his right side against a tensioning coupler that was on the wall. The employee was hospitalized with two fractured ribs.
