An employee was using a rope to pull down a 50-foot tree when the tree fell on him. He suffered a fracture to his C7 vertebra and a broken hip, requiring hospitalization.

On June 5, 2022, an employee was dispatched to remove a tree that had fallen on a communication cable. A large limb from the tree was hanging from the communication cable like a swing and was close to the ground. The employee was standing on the ground using a chainsaw to cut the limb bit by bit. As the limb was cut the communication cable moved up and released the tree limb. When the tree limb fell it pushed the back of the employee's hard hat causing him to fall face down on the ground. The limb then landed on his ankle. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to the right ankle, left wrist, and T6 vertebra.
