An employee was crouching down while sand-blasting a void tank on a barge when abrasive material from blast nozzle struck his right calf, causing a skin abrasion.
An employee was removing a marine hanging staging scaffold when he fell approximately 25 feet to the bottom of the tank. The employee sustained a fracture to their right orbital socket, a contusion, and a compression fracture to their vertebrae. The employee was hospitalized. Fall protection was not worn at the time.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
