Two employees were installing a heavy metal cabinet through an opening in the raised floor of a fire truck rear compartment. The injured employee had one hand through another opening in the rear compartment. While both employees were attempting to align the cabinet to a bolt hole, the cabinet pinched the injured employee's fingers, causing a partial amputation of the employee's right index fingertip.
An employee was operating a chop saw when the saw blade bounded with the material being cut, causing the material to flip and contact the employee's left middle finger. The employee suffered an open fracture and the amputation of a finger on their left hand.
