On November 30, 2018, an employee was loading a shaft onto a winding machine using an electric hoist when the shaft caught the corner of the machine and began to fall from the hook. The employee's foot was struck by the falling shaft, partially crushing it and resulting in a big toe amputation. The employee was hospitalized.
An employee had just removed a shaft from a film roller and had a finger in the air valve when the valve closed and lacerated/fractured the employee's finger. The employee was hospitalized.
