Final narrative
An employee was manufacturing a de-panner using a handheld grinder. The grinder's wheel exploded, lacerating his right middle finger and ring finger. The middle finger was medically amputated at the second knuckle.
An employee was making cheesecake at a cheesecake press machine when the machine severely cut her thumb, requiring overnight hospitalization and surgery. The machine was guarded at the time.
