A security officer was attending to an aggressive dog(s) by the patient entrance to the hospital. During the intervention with the dog(s), the officer was bitten. At that point, the officer discharged a firearm at the dog and the discharged round struck the officer in the left little finger area.

An employee was at a firearm range for security training. As she was unloading a firearm inside a vehicle, the weapon discharged. The employee sustained a gunshot wound to the left medial knee.
