An employee was blowing excess sand off a pneumatic trash compactor skid that had recently been sandblasted prior to painting. While repositioning himself onto the platform, the weight shifted to one side, forcing the equipment to tip and pin him to the ground. The employee's right fibula and tibia were broken.
