An employee was rinsing down a tub wash machine in the off position with a water hose when he noticed a piece of plastic in the machine and turned it on. He was attempting to retrieve the plastic when the moving conveyor belt caught his glove and proceeded to cut his finger, resulting in an amputation to the left ring finger.
