An employee was operating a saw when the blade amputated their right index finger and thumb.
An employee was removing wood scraps from a concrete pad where he was to deliver sawdust. The wood scraps moved and he fell to the concrete pad. The employee sustained a fractured greater trochanter on their left femur.
An employee was stepping onto a short ladder to reach and connect an electrical line when he slipped. The lower portion of the right side of his ribcage struck the deck at the top of the ladder, resulting in a lacerated spleen. The employee required surgery.
An employee was using a pike to pull a log that had become misaligned on a deck when the log crushed the employee's left foot. The employee was hospitalized and their left little toe was surgically amputated.
