An employee was using a pallet jack to unload boxes of furniture from a trailer. A box of furniture was sitting on a pallet that was partially shattered. As the pallet was pulled, it completely shattered causing the furniture to fall onto the employee. The employee suffered displaced fractures to both bones in the right ankle.
