On January 26, 2021, an employee was adjusting the bed height of a hydraulic press. The table/bed adjustment handle slipped and the table dropped on the employee's right hand. The employee's thumb was crushed between the bed and one of the pins the employee had been adjusting, and the thumb tip was amputated without bone loss.
