An employee was attempting to clear the air lock by scooping the feed down with a grain shovel. While standing on the pile of feed, he lost his balance. As he went to catch himself, his hand was caught in the air lock resulting in a broken thumb/hand.

On December 19, 2023, an employee was setting up a copper wire drawing machine when his left ring finger was pinched between a copper wire and a machine part. The employee's finger was partially amputated.
