An employee was driving around and making deliveries on July 7, 2021. It was a humid, 92-degree day and the delivery truck's air conditioning failed. On returning to the facility at 5:00 p.m., the employee was hot and sweaty, with incoherent speech. The employee was hospitalized, suffering from heat exhaustion and kidney failure.
