At about 2:00 p.m. on August 2, 2021, an employee was making batches of popcorn when the kernel dispensing tube cap came off. The employee was putting a lid/cap on the tube system when the auger (spiral rod) grabbed his lab coat and pulled him in. The auger penetrated the employee's chest and exited his back. He was hospitalized.
