An employee was standing beside a stack of steel beams that had been lifted with an overhead crane. After trying to move the chain with the hook away from under the stack, the employee raised the crane. The chain hooked back onto the beams, causing them to fall onto the employee and to fracture both legs.
An employee had a steel beam suspended from an overhead crane and was attempting to lower it onto the ground. He had one hand on the end of the beam while his other hand held the remote control for the crane. While moving it to the saw area, he stepped on a stack of beams. The top beam tipped over and landed on his right foot, fracturing three bones.
