Final narrative
On October 20, 2021, an employee had just changed a roll former machine from one metal size to another and was setting up the machine for a new production order. He was reaching to retrieve a metal piece coming out of the machine when the chain and sprocket that drove the kicker wheel caught his right glove. His ring finger was amputated at the first knuckle, and he was hospitalized.
On December 19, 2023, an employee was setting up a copper wire drawing machine when his left ring finger was pinched between a copper wire and a machine part. The employee's finger was partially amputated.
An employee was checking the gusset seal on a machine. He moved to the next cross sealer and the machine activated, causing an amputation to a left-hand finger. The employee was hospitalized.
