An employee was on a ladder and the ladder was secured on a communications strand (flexible cable). He reached over to secure his safety harness and the ladder slid a bit causing him to fall about 15 feet to the ground. He sustained multiple injuries to his right leg, ankle, and foot.
The employee was on top of a rail car to level the grain that was deposited into the car when they fell 13-15 feet to the ground. The employee sustained a right leg fracture.
