Employees were removing the bottom glue catch pan from a machine. The pan came loose from its supporting structure and fell. As he tried to catch it, it pinched an employee's hand against the metal catwalk. He suffered an amputation to the right index fingertip.

An employee was pulling on a handwheel on a fabric cart when the wheel pulled off in the employee's hands causing him to fall backward and land on his rear end and back. The employee was hospitalized for an L1 fracture.
