Final narrative
An employee was doing a pre-trip inspection of a tractor trailer. The employee fell from a small ladder/step stool to the ground less than 3 feet below, suffering a broken right ankle.
An employee had just finished unloading his truck. He pulled the dock plate up and reached to pull the door down. His foot went between the dock plate and the trailer, causing him to fall to the right and break his leg. He was hospitalized, requiring surgery.
