An employee was replacing a cable on a sprocket on the door of a shipping dock when the door braces shifted and caused weight/tension to be put on the cable. His left hand was caught between the chain and sprocket, resulting in a crush injury to the middle and ring fingers and amputation of the ring fingertip.
