An employee was operating a powered pallet jack with sheet metal loaded on its forks. As he held the metal in place while moving to a new location, the lift came to a stop. The metal shifted and amputated the tip of his middle finger.
On October 26, 2023, an employee was riding on the forks of a forklift that was moving a stack of glass panels. The forklift made a turn and the glass fell on the injured employee, causing lacerations and crush injuries to their hands.
