On December 14, 2022, an employee was descending a step ladder when they fell to the ground. The employee was hospitalized and underwent surgery for a hip injury.
An employee noticed a water spray nozzle from the grain conveyor system was out of place overhead. They reached up to put it back in the opening where it belongs when their left middle finger slipped into the opening. The employee's fingertip was amputated.
On October 2, 2020, at approximately 8:45 AM, in preparation for cleaning activities, an employee crouched down beneath a conveyor belt. The employee lost balance and his left hand landed on the belt tension roller. He was pulled in between the roller and the belt, resulting in crushing injuries to the left hand and forearm.
