An employee was operating an extrusion line press. The employee was backing off the line, and clearing material near the nozzle when they became caught in the machine resulting in partial amputation of the right middle finger.
At 10:45 a.m., on February 22, 2019, an employee was working at an extruder line, clearing accumulated plastic between the guillotine blade and pulley belts. The timed chopping cycle took place, amputating the employee's left index finger above the first knuckle. The employee was hospitalized, undergoing surgery.
On December 19, 2023, an employee was setting up a copper wire drawing machine when his left ring finger was pinched between a copper wire and a machine part. The employee's finger was partially amputated.
