An employee was walking into a classroom when he tripped on a rug, striking his head on a desk. The employee sustained sprains to their cervical spine and left knee, a strain to the lower back, and a concussion.
An employee arrived at work and was walking into the store through the parking lot. The employee tripped over a curb and fell to the ground, sustaining a femur fracture.
An employee was using a table saw to cut a 1-inch x 1-inch board down to 1/2-inch to make repairs to a closet in an apartment unit. While cutting/feeding the wood through the saw, the edge of his right middle finger caught on the saw blade, resulting in an amputation.
An employee was walking to their work vehicle in the parking lot when they slipped on ice and struck the ground. The employee was hospitalized with a back fracture and required surgery.
An employee was installing fence posts when they stepped into a recently dug hole that was not visible due to rainfall. The employee's leg was fractured.
