An employee was making a delivery to a jobsite. He got out of his truck to assist the client in removing pipes from the trailer using a forklift. When assisting to maneuver the forks into place, the employee's left hand was crushed between the trailer and forklift forks. He sustained a ring finger fracture and amputation of the little finger to the first knuckle.
