Final narrative
An employee was picking up sheared material and stacking it on a waist-level cart. The employee moved the cart and it fell over. Approximately 40 pieces of sheet metal (weighing about 20 pounds each) fell from the cart and struck the employee's right lower leg, fracturing the tibia. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
On September 19, 2023, an employee was stretching a trailer lining when the air supplying the stretching table was released. The two I-beams of the lining table closed on the employee's finger, resulting in an amputation to the ring finger.
