An employee was working near a colleague that was using a high-pressure wand. When the colleague opened the valve, the injured employee's left hand was lacerated by a high pressure water stream.
An employee was spray painting an area of a marine barge using a pressurized paint gun. Her glove became stuck to the gun. Her left hand came out of the glove and while trying to adjust the gun, paint was injected into her left middle finger.
An employee was rolling up a power cord inside the tank of a vessel when they stepped backward into a manhole behind them. The employee fell through the hole inside the tank of the vessel and sustained fractures to the shoulder as well as swelling of the left side of the back.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
