An employee was using a dozer to clear a plot of land. The dozer struck the ground after getting stuck on a tree stump, causing the employee to hit their head on the cab roof. The employee sustained a spinal compression injury.

On August 31, 2023, an employee was operating an excavator to complete a demolition job. As the excavator drove into the first floor of the building, the floor collapsed. The vehicle and employee dropped approximately 8 feet, causing the employee to sustain a back injury.

An employee was standing on a walk-behind lawn mower when the mower spun out of control. His right ring fingertip became caught in the handlebar, resulting in an amputation.

An employee was operating an excavator inside the steel mill's melt shop. The excavator drove over a piece of steel that became trapped beneath the tracks of the excavator. As the employee drove forward, the piece of steel broke the front windshield and amputated the employee's left ring fingertip.

An employee was working to deliver mail to an apartment building. She was waiting for a customer to move, to obtain clearance to the mailboxes. The door swung inward and closed on her right little finger. The top half of her finger was surgically amputated.

An employee fell from a step ladder while reaching for a tie-off point. He impacted the ground, and landed on his bolt bag which contained tools. The employee was hospitalized with fractured ribs, and a lacerated spleen and kidney.

On October 30, 2025, an employee was working to adjust a stackable metal shipping container. As the container dropped into place, it caught the employee's hands in an area between the upper and lower cross-members. The employee suffered a laceration to the left ring finger that required stitches, bruising to the right ring finger, and fractures to the right middle finger that necessitated medical amputation of the fingertip.
