An employee had just completed jeeping a section of 36-inch steel pipe with a holiday detector. The employee turned the holiday detector off and attempted to remove the spring. After he grabbed the spring, his forearm accidentally turned the machine back on, causing a tingle to his left hand. He began to feel unwell toward the end of the workday and was hospitalized.
An employee was installing a 15-amp breaker in an electrical panel when a 12-gauge ground wire touched the positive busbar of the panel, resulting in an arc flash. The employee sustained a second-degree burn to their left hand.
