An employee was assisting with pipe on a drilling rig. The slips came down and landed on the employee's left foot fracturing four metatarsals.

An employee was spinning pipe together when a catwalk was pushed into the pipe and the box end of the drill pipe struck the employee in the back. The employee sustained fractures to two ribs and six transverse processes.
An employee was tripping drill pipe out of a hole at a drilling rig when he tripped and put his hands out to catch himself. While his hands were on the ground, the pipe fell on and cut his right pinky finger. His pinky finger was surgically amputated at the knuckle.
