An employee was outside a vehicle, speaking to its operator, when that vehicle was struck by another vehicle. The employee was knocked over and suffered a broken humerus and a dislocated shoulder.

Employees were installing a gas main on a residential property. The injured employee was directing a tri-axle as it was reversing toward a backhoe when the tri-axle struck the backhoe. The backhoe shifted off the curb and struck the employee's leg, fracturing it.
An employee was operating a garbage truck's controls. A box truck struck roadway barricades that then struck the employee who sustained cuts and bruises to the head and chest.
