At 6:49 AM, on April 2, 2024, an employee was assembling grinder equipment and installing the cylinder of the equipment when their left index finger became pinched between the cylinder and the grinding equipment. This resulted in the surgical amputation of the distal finger joint.

An employee was changing a die in a press when the die slipped and crushed the employee's left index finger. The employee sustained an open facture of the tuft of the left distal phalanx and a partial amputation.
